My Mom’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 110g brown sugar
  • 100g white sugar
  • 225g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 110g butter
  • 260g chocolate chips
  • vanilla from one bean (optional)

Directions

  1. Beat the butter, vanilla, sugar, and the egg until you obtain a moussy texture
  2. Add the sifted flour and the baking powder, mix with a spatula
  3. Incorporate the chocolate chips
  4. Refrigirate your dough for at least one hour
  5. Preheat oven at 180°C (356F)
  6. Make some small balls with your hand, and add them to a non-stick baking tray
  7. Cook for 12 minutes!

Your cookies will be chewy inside and crunchy outside!
