Steak

Ingredients

  • 250g any type steak
  • 1 tea spoon salt
  • 1 table spoon paprika  
  • 1 table spoon rosemary
  • 1 tea spoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 table spoon cumin (optional)
  • olive oil
  • 1 tea spoon butter

Directions

  1. Mix the spices together in a small bowl to create a rub
  2. Rub the spices on all sides of the steak
  3. Add enough oil in the pan to cover its surface, and heat on medium-to-low heat until the oil is no longer viscous
  4. Add the steak, add a slice of butter on top (optional), cover, and cook for 5 minutes
  5. Uncover, turn steak around, and cook for an additional 4 minutes
  6. Cook the sides of the steak for one minute each
