Cornbread

Ingredients  

  • 120g corn flour
  • 120g wheat flour
  • 170g granulated sugar
  • 240mL buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 110g butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • salt

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven at 150˚C (302˚F), and prepare aside a baking tray that is buttered
  2. Melt the butter in a pot, set aside
  3. Beat the eggs, sugar, and butter unitl you obtain a moussy texture
  4. Add the buttermilk, beat for 5mn vigorously
  5. Add the corn flour, wheat flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt to the mixture
  6. Mix for another 5mn
  7. Place the mixture in the tray, bake for about 40mn!
