Cheese Choux

Ingredients

  • 150g flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 250g grated emmental  
  • 10cL water
  • 15cL whole milk
  • 80g butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • pepper

Directions

  1. In a pot boil the water, the milk, the butter, and the salt. Turn off the heat as soon as the mixture boils.
  2. Add the sifted flour as a whole in the pot, and stir energetically.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, and wait for the egg to be fully mixed in before adding the other next one.
  4. Add the cheese, salt, and pepper, stir well.
  5. With a spoon, shape the choux, and deep fry them in oil OR bake in oven for 25 minutes at 180C (356F).
