Sauce Béchamel
Ingredients
- 40g butter
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 3/4L of milk at room temperature (3 cups)
- Salt, pepper, and nutmeg
Directions
- In a saucepan, melt your butter at medium heat
- Add the flour and cook for about 3 minutes until the flour becomes brownish
- Add your milk one table spoon at a time and mix until the texture if homogenous
- Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg
- You can use béchamel for making casseroles, pasta sauce, lasagna, and much more!
